Guided by the global vision of Lions Clubs International – “To be the global leader in community and
humanitarian service” - Lions Club New Delhi Alaknanda steps into the Lionistic Year 2025–26 with
renewed energy, inclusive leadership, and a strong sense of purpose. This year, we commit to visible
impact, meaningful engagement, and lasting legacy through service, innovation, and collaboration.
Vision for Lionistic year 2025-26 are:
1. Legacy, Impact & Recognition
We aim to scale meaningful service activities that touch lives, restore dignity, and create a ripple of positive change across communities.

Water Cooler Initiative: Continue the installation of water coolers in government schools, public spaces, and health centers – particularly in water-scarce areas.

Hunger Relief Programs: Distribution of ration kits, community kitchens, and nutrition awareness camps.

Eye Vision Projects: Organize eye check-up camps, free spectacle distribution, and cataract surgeries with reputed hospitals.

Other Humanitarian Works:

Blood donation drives

Educational kits and scholarships for underprivileged children

Feed the Hunger

Heritage Walk: A special event to connect members with India's rich traditions, history, and cultural values.
2. Member Participation – Every Lion, Every Month
We believe every member is a leader and every family is a pillar of our service.

Motivate each member participates in at least one activity every month.

Recognize member contributions regularly through monthly awards.

Encourage family participation in service activities – nurturing a culture of collective giving.

3. Active Board, Accountable Leadership
Board shall act as a driving force with structured responsibilities and transparent performance.

4. Membership Growth & Youth Engagement
We aim to grow stronger together, while nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

"Bring One, Build One" Membership Drive to expand the strength of committed members.

Strengthen Leo Club activity in schools and colleges through:

Leo Activeness Fund – For the first time, an allocation of ₹15,000 is made to empower Leo Club initiatives.

5. Celebration of Festivals & Cultural Values
We shall celebrate major festivals, national days, and club functions together – fostering unity, joy, and shared values among members and families.

These moments of celebration will be an opportunity to nurture Indian traditions, strengthen our club bonding, and pass on a sense of community and culture to the next generation.

From Diwali to Independence Day, from family picnics to spiritual gatherings – every occasion will be a reflection of togetherness, tradition, and Lionistic spirit.

6. First-Time Milestone Initiatives
This year is filled with firsts – reflecting our bold vision and innovative mindset:

Professional & Business Wing Vision – LCNDA 25–26
“To empower professionals and entrepreneurs through meaningful networking, knowledge-sharing platforms, and collaborative growth opportunities — fostering leadership, innovation, and service-driven success within the Lionistic community.”

Special Focus Project – Specially Abled Children
For the first time, we dedicate the Project of the Year to specially abled children – focusing on support, accessibility, therapy, education, and inclusive engagement.

Official Website & Digital Portal – For the first time, launching the club’s own website and digital portal for information, updates, media, and project reporting

Artificial Limb Project – Bringing hope and mobility to those in need

Women Empowerment - A dedicated fund of ₹60,000 has been allocated for Lioness-led service projects and celebrations, for the first time – supporting women-led leadership and community action.

Business Talk – Member-led knowledge sessions and networking opportunities

Member Directory – Professionally curated printed & digital directory of all club members

Live Board Meeting Calendar – Monthly board meeting dates will be displayed and updated on the website calendar – a transparency initiative being launched for the first time
Recognition: To honor consistent dedication, the club will present “Lion of the Month” and “Family of the Month” awards to active contributors each month.
