We are delighted to announce the upcoming Installation Ceremony of Lions Club New Delhi Alaknanda for the Lionistic Year 2025-26, scheduled to be held on Sunday, 10th

August 2025.

This grand occasion marks the beginning of a new leadership chapter filled with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and deeper commitment to service. It is a proud moment for all of us as we pass the torch to our newly elected team.

With great honour, we welcome the new President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the club. Their leadership promises to bring new energy, stronger collaborations, and greater service impact.

The Installation Ceremony is not just a formal handover — it is a celebration of our shared values, achievements, and unwavering dedication to uplifting lives through Lionism. As we step into the new Lionistic year, we express deep gratitude to the outgoing team for their

remarkable service and commitment.

Adding to the significance of the evening, the club will also honour excellence and dedication through two meaningful recognitions. The Chiranji Lal Dhanuka Service Award will be presented to an individual or organisation creating long-term social impact in the fields of education, environment, women empowerment, and community service.

Additionally, the CA C.P. Agrawal Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to deserving Chartered Accountancy students to support their academic journey and financial needs.

The presence of our senior Lions, past presidents, charter members, and invited guests will make the evening truly memorable. We look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with pride, purpose, and fellowship, reaffirming our collective commitment to the motto — “We Serve.”

As we embark on a new Lionistic year with renewed purpose and energy, Lions Club New Delhi Alaknanda is also delighted to celebrate one of the most spiritually uplifting festivals — Shri Krishna Janmashtami. This occasion not only marks the birth of Lord Krishna but also reminds us of his timeless teachings — the power of truth, the strength of selfless action, and the importance of righteousness in every walk of life.

As a club dedicated to service and values, Janmashtami holds special significance for us. It brings an opportunity to strengthen our cultural bonds, foster unity among members, and reflect on the deeper purpose behind our actions. May this divine festival inspire us to serve with compassion, lead with humility, and walk the path of dharma as shown by Lord Krishna.
